He has written several books on the subject of the Sephardic roots of the Southwest.

Dell deeply valued people and his teachings came straight from the heart, centered on the Lord. He dedicated himself to encouraging others to walk in their purpose and fulfill their divine calling.
Psalm 1:3 uses the metaphor of a tree planted by a river to describe a person who delights in and follows God's ways. It means that someone who is rooted in God's truth and guidance is strong, fruitful, and resilient—like a well-watered tree that produces good fruit and remains healthy no matter the season.
In essence, it highlights that living in alignment with God's principles leads to prosperity, stability, and ongoing growth in life.
Dell applied & modeled this scripture, and it was apparent in the way he lived and everything he did.
Dell was more than just a mentor; He was a pioneering man of faith, he was a guiding light, a true friend, and a spiritual father who always took the time to check in on us, offering words of encouragement and support. His genuine care and compassion touched everyone he met, and he never hesitated to extend a helping hand or lend a listening ear. His love for his wife, Helen, and family was evident in everything he did, serving as a beautiful example of devotion and faith. Throughout his life, he poured his heart and soul into teaching, primarily the Hispanic community, dedicating his efforts to uplift, inspire, and bring hope to those around him. His legacy of kindness, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him, and he will always be remembered with love, respect and gratitude for the profound impact he made.
