Words of Hope for Overcoming the Coronavirus- Covid-19

In Jesus Christ we can do all things!! Philippians 4:13

Hello Friends!

I'm praying that you and your families are doing well. Please know that this message is not to cause panic, fear or any other negative emotion- but rather shed some light and hope during this unprecedented season our families, friends, communities, nation and world is facing. ( Notice that I used the word season, for this too shall pass!)

I have to admit upon first finding out about the Coronavirus- specifically Covid-19, I didn't think much about it. However, as the virus began to spread- so did fear and that's when I started in prayer asking for insight concerning this virus.

And as a believer in the Lord Jesus - you know that He is faithful! Faithful to uncover anything that could possibly cause hurt or destruction to any of His precious people!

Again, what I am about to share might be a hard pill to swallow- but I promise if you read through the entirety of this message- you will be encouraged!!

The Lord took me to Zechariah Ch. 5; " The Flying Scroll"

Everything in God's word has meaning & purpose- so its important that we identify them so that we can grow in the knowledge of His will for our lives- amen!

Ch. 5 - Just starting with the number 5, means grace- I believe we are in His season of grace and we have NOT entered into His judgement!! We are under His umbrella of Grace!!

What is Grace anyway? Simply put its His undeserved unmerited favor towards us- Jesus!! Jesus is Grace! He has chosen to make a way for all mankind to be saved through Him! ( John 3:16;  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.)

Verse 1- Then I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, there was a flying scroll.  (Hebrew word megillah;  scroll = the ancient book that can be written upon both sides)

Verse 2- And he said to me, " What do you see?" (Hebrew word Raah; see=to see intellectually, to inspect, to experience.)

"I see a flying scroll; it's length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits."

(Could it be, that the flying scroll then, can relate to the ancient book, the Bible, that has been made visible for all to see now? The word of God, His message of salvation has been made available to all nations. )

Verse 3- Then he said to me, "This is the curse (Hebrew word alah, curse; the curse for breaking of the covenant between God & His people should they prove to be faithless)

that is going forth over the face of the whole land;( Hebrew word erets, land; meaning the whole earth, the physical planet, the earth inhabitants)

surely everyone who steals (Hebrew word ganab, steal; meaning to deceive)

will be purged away according to the writing on one side, and everyone who swears

(Hebrew word shaba, swear; meaning to pledge allegiance to God through an oath)

will be purged away according to the writing on the other side.

This speaks about two categories-everyone who ganab/deceived or takes- which is the lost and everyone who is shaba/swear, made a covenant with God, which represents His people/His bride those that are faithless.

Verse 4- "I will make it go forth," declares the Lord and it will enter the house of the thief (Hebrew word ganab, steal; meaning to deceived or take) and the house of the one who swears (Hebrew word shaba, swear; meaning to pledge allegiance to God through an oath) falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and consume it with its timber and stones."

(Please know that God did not cause the curse, man did, but he did allow it to go forth upon the entire land.)

Verse 5-Then the angel who was speaking with me went out, and said to me, "Lift up now your eyes, and see (Hebrew word Raah; see=to see intellectually, to inspect, to experience.) what this is, going forth."

Verse 6- And I said, " What is it?" And he said, " This is the ephah going forth."

 ( Ephah/basket measure for grain)

Verse 7- ( and behold, a lead cover was lifted up) this is a woman sitting inside the

basket or ephah."

Verse 8-Then he said, " This is Wickedness!" ( Hebrew word Rishah, wickedness meaning unrighteousness or wrong) And he threw her down into the middle of the ephah/ basket and cast the lead weight on its opening.

Verse 9-Then I lifted up my eyes and looked and two women were coming out with the wind ( Hebrew word ruach, wind meaning  blast, air for breathing, put in order by divine breathe, the creative Word of God.) in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah/basket between the earth and the heavens.

Verse 10-And I said to the angel who was speaking with me, " Where are they taking the ephah/basket?

Verse 11- Then he said to me, "To build a temple for her in the land of Shinar;  (Babylonia.)  ..  and when it is prepared, she will be set there on her own pedestal."

Babylon represents the world alienated from God. Babylon appears throughout the Hebrew Bible, including several prophecies and in descriptions of the destruction of Jerusalem and subsequent Babylonian captivity. Consequently, in Jewish tradition, Babylon symbolizes an oppressor against which righteous believers must struggle.

So what does all of this mean? Let me be clear, I am not claiming to be an expert of biblical prophecies.  However, I do think there is a message for us today tied into what happened during that time period described in that passage for His precious saints.

Zechariah and Haggai both preached to the first generation after the return to Judah from the Babylonian exile. God raised  up these two prophets to stir up the nation to complete the rebuilding of the temple. During that time, the people faced many challenges such as economic hardships, ect..

Zechariah's visions are filled with rich apocalyptic-type imagery. These include such events as Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, His arrest, His crucifixion and His Second Coming.

In Zechariah Verse 9-The curse was carried away; coming out with the wind ( Hebrew word ruach, wind meaning  blast, air for breathing, put in order by divine breathe, the creative Word of God.

With this being said, I truly believe that God is calling upon His Prophets and Anointed

Leaders  to arise and speak forth God's heavenly truths (Hebrew word ruach,  put in order by divine breathe, the creative Word of God.) with no apology and the word for this hour is  "Repentance & Salvation!"

Let's first take a look at repentance. It's time to clean up our Spiritual Temples!!

The prophetic word in Zechariah Ch. 5, in my opinion, although had to do with a curse caused by  mankind then, is  speaking to God's mighty remnant with insight on some spiritual keys for what is happening now!

Just like during that time, the land was polluted from their former sins, many were faithless.  On top of that,  there was no temple in operation.

We, as God's people, we have the Holy Spirit indwelt within us, we are His holy temples! God is calling on His people..to step forward, to take a stand for His Righteousness, His Justice, His Ways! In doing so He will answer! He will bring His healing to the nations!

Second Chronicles 7:14 contains an awesome promise: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

We have the awesome privilege and power of prayer in Jesus name!

In Zechariah Ch 4:7" What are you , O great mountain?"Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of Grace, grace to it!!

In the same way, we too can declare, " What are you oh great mountain of wickedness Covid 19? In Jesus name you are defeated!

Along with that, during this season, we should also be praying salvation for the unsaved- specifically that God will draw them in.. that during this pandemic many would receive Jesus as their Lord & Savior.

Lastly, Jesus said, "Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps alight." Luke 12:35.

Be encouraged and stay encouraged. God is still on His throne and nothing catches

Him by surprise! He has equipped us through His Spirit to bear fruit.

You and I can share the fruits of the Holy Spirit with those we meet. Whether its His peace, joy love- we can bring comfort to those who are not anchored to the Truth!

In doing so, we shine for Him- His ambassadors - His trophies of grace!

Will you join me for the following?

1. To make a pledge to pray everyday on the two key points mentioned above,

2. To pass this information along to others who have a heart for God.

In layman's terms.. - the ways of Babylon (pride, greed, ect) has infected all nations..

This Coronavirus-Covid 19 is directly tied into Wickedness.. and God's people have the solution through prayer!

I know we are not allowed, at this time,  to come together physically- but we can unite in prayer! If we, His people choose to call unto Him- He will answer!

 His Servant,

 Mari Tello
